Teringin...

Teringinlah,
nak main batu seremban
nak main gasing
nak buat teh tarik
lompat-lompat sambil tersengih depan monitor
ish! Teringin sangat-sangat!
Teringin juga nak ada sebuah istana besar. Teringin juga nak pergi ke Seksyen 7 Shah Alam, main di kolam mandi gajah putih. Tidur di mana-mana rumah yang saya suka. Memang teringin sangat-sangat.
Dulu kini.... selamanya? Itu bukan motto saya.
p/s - saya menangis dalam ketawa.

What’s behind that ‘Raya glow’ on Khir’s face?

SHAH ALAM: Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo has come under scrutiny – everybody is talking about his sudden youthfulness and Hari Raya “glow.”

His face looks slimmer and more contoured, while his complexion appears smoother, more taut and fairer, taking years off his age.

“Dr Khir used to look old for his age. He's only 41, yet much of his hair had grown white and his face looked tired,” said a female secretary working at the Selangor state building here.

“Now, he looks young and fresh. The whole Selangor State Secretariat staff are talking about him and wondering what his secret is.”

Indeed, a photograph taken of him two years ago showed Dr Khir with chubbier cheeks, slightly unkempt beard and tired-looking eyes beneath his glasses. His face colour was uneven with pigmentation or ageing signs.

“Previously, some of us used to advise Dr Khir to take care, telling him the hard work is showing on his face. It looks as if he had listened to us,” quipped another staff.

She said Dr Khir decided to do away with his glasses by going for laser treatment last year to correct his short-sightedness.

“Then, over the past two months, we noticed how his other facial features improved.

“His face even glows now. When we praise him for looking good, he smiles shyly,” the staff added.

Met at a Deepavali open house last week, Dr Khir's wife Datin Seri Zahrah Kechik smiled when told how much her husband’s improved looks were drawing attention.

Asked about the secret, she merely said her husband's looks were a reflection of his “hati lapang” or happy heart.
