Trick or Treat! Assalamualaikum!
Aren't they the cutest 'ghosts' you'd ever seen?
These cutie pies knocked on our door on Halloween night. After the first little mat sallehs ghosts tapping on the door, we thought of ignoring these bunch when they yelled 'Trick or Treat' around 7pm. Well we don't have any candy at home so we thought of 'tricking' the 'ghosts' by ignoring them but this children got a trick up their sleeves.
They yelled 'Assalamualaikum!!'
Now who could ignore that? So who stood in front of us? A pink coloured witch, an innocent looking ghost, a pretty princess with tiara and a boy with handiplast on his face. What a bunch of weird looking ghosts huh?
Anyway they're lucky. We got some extra kit-kat at home to give away. Ah! Should I say this? Well this is for the kids or those who stand at 4 feet tall. Happy Halloween! Hope you guys got buckets of candies to last for a year.
Me? I'm just a hantu trying to repent. Arghhhh!

hehe ala dah haloween tu pun memang scheme rejim kapitalis yang memang sentiasa nak buat duit. sama lah macam valentines. kalau ikutkan, patutnya orang Christian tu pi sembayang ke apa ke pada hari tu, tapi dah jadi commercialised.
ala macam hari raya kita lah, kalau hari raya tak sah kalau courts mamoth tu tak buat jualan perabot dan barangan elektrik raya
janggalnya bila baca bab halloween nie...ngape terikut2 dgn budaya barat...betul laa...kata pepatah...masuk kandang kambing mengembek...masuk kandang lembu mengembooo...tapi biarlah berpada!

Setuju. Tapi maybe parents Melayu kat sini fikir ini salah satu untuk 'have fun' untuk anak2 mereka. Susah jugak jadi parents kat negara org puteh ni. Alhamdulillah gak apart from halloween ni, depa jaga gak solat anak2. Mostly antar anak2 mengaji. Kita cuba seimbangkan yang Barat dan Islam. InsyaAllah. Please, tegur kalau cikgu rasa ada yang terkeluar dari landasan Islam. Kita sama-sama belajar InsyaAllah.
